You will be working at an organization in the Utrecht region that operates internationally within business services. IT is a crucial pillar here and the department has existed for over 30 years. Their in-house developed applications are used in more than 15 European countries and are closely intertwined with their primary business processes. Even their own customers use the ERP systems via extranet.

To strengthen the management team, they are looking for an Integration Developer (ODI) with strong SQL skills. The IT team consists of over 70 colleagues spread across development, infrastructure and application management. You will work in a team of 14 other colleagues with other disciplines. You and one other Integration Developer are responsible for building and maintaining interfaces and resolving production issues and monitoring.

In this role, you will be responsible for the technical monitoring and improvement of the application landscape, which consists entirely of custom applications. You will dive into the code to resolve disruptions and problems. Good knowledge of SQL is essential for this. The environment is mainly based on Oracle, Weblogic and Java. In case of disruptions, you dive deep into the code to detect and resolve problems. You maintain contact with external parties and colleagues at an international level, which means that you regularly communicate with people from different countries and cultures.

In addition, you will be concerned with:

  • Implementing and testing new functionalities and products;
  • Providing third-line support to colleagues in more than 15 European countries;
  • Using ODI tools focused on bulk interfaces;
  • Automating processes;
  • And drafting and updating documentation.

Your profile

Is this you?

    • HBO working and thinking level

    • Excellent command of the English language, both oral and written
    • Experience with SQL and preferably also with ODI, SOA or PL/SQL

    • Preferably experience managing in-house developed custom applications
